About Rosie’s Girls
The Cincinnati ToolBank is proud to announce the launch of Rosie’s Girls® program, a three-week summer camp designed to introduce middle school girls to STEAM, the skilled trades, and career exploration through hands-on learning.
Rosie’s Girls® is a nationally recognized program created by Vermont Works for Women that empowers youth to build confidence, resilience, and leadership skills while exploring career fields traditionally underrepresented by women.
Through interactive projects and real-world learning experiences, participants will gain exposure to a variety of trades and industries while working alongside skilled professionals and mentors in a supportive and encouraging environment.
“At Rosie’s Girls, young people have the opportunity to try new things, build real skills, and discover confidence they didn’t know they had,” said Kat Pepmeyer, Executive Director of the Cincinnati ToolBank. “We’re excited to bring this powerful program to Cincinnati and help inspire the next generation of builders, problem-solvers, and leaders.”
In addition to technical skills, campers participate in social and emotional learning activities that help them develop communication, teamwork, and leadership skills while building meaningful friendships.
