The support of Volunteers is critical to the Cincinnati ToolBank’s success as it enables us to equip hundreds of charitable organizations and their volunteers with the tools needed to complete thousands of service projects in the Greater Cincinnati area every year. There are many ways you can volunteer at the Cincinnati ToolBank.

Individual Volunteers

We rely on the generosity of individuals volunteering their time to help us complete general agency projects and activities, from tool repair to assisting with inventory storage and groundskeeping. We leverage the specialized skills of volunteers to strengthen our infrastructure and mission. From technology-based skills to special events, volunteers help us keep up with increasing demand for our tool lending program and the ongoing maintenance of our tools and facility. Volunteer activities often include organizing various items in the warehouse to optimize efficiency as well as painting, cleaning, and sharpening tools.

Corporate & Group Volunteers

Through group volunteerism, we are able to maintain an efficient warehouse, tool lending program and provide mentorship and support to individuals participating in our training programs. Corporate volunteer programs allow employees to donate their time to worthy organizations, creating brand awareness, and strengthening loyalty in the community. With morning and afternoon shifts and the ability to host groups of up to 25 volunteers in each shift, we provide groups with an outlet for giving back through volunteering.
