WHAT IS “BUILDING CHANGE?” Building Change is Cincinnati ToolBank’s one-of-a-kind community give-back experience that empowers groups of volunteers of any age, background, or affiliation to build lasting change in their community.

WHY SHOULD MY TEAM BE INVOLVED IN BUILDING CHANGE?

Team Building: Your team will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with other team members on a project designed to enhance our community.
Community Building: Participating teams will build various outdoor items (picnic tables, raised beds, compost bins, etc) that will benefit nonprofits, schools, community centers & parks in our community.

WHAT SIZE SHOULD MY TEAM BE?

You decide…we have had up to 30 people building at one time.

WHAT IS THE COST?

  • Up to 10 participants is $2,500

  • 10-15 participants is $3,000

  • 15-20 participants is $3,500

  • 20-25 participants is $4,000

And if you have a limited budget, we have options!

NOT SO HANDY?

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. You will be working in teams to build each item along with facilitation from our ToolBank staff.

HOW MANY ITEMS WILL WE BUILD?

On average your team will build 8-10 picnic tables based on 15 participants.

BUILDING CHANGE IN 4 EASY STEPS

1. COMPLETE OUR BUILDING CHANGE FORM
Click the BUTTON BELOW (Building Change – Corporate Build Request) and help us get a full picture of what your organization is looking for. Our team will use this information to craft a unique building experience for your team.
2. FILL OUT OUR RECIPIENT REQUEST FORM
Let us know if there is a specific organization that you wish to donate the pieces that your team hand-builds with us. If not, we’ve got a list of local agencies that will directly benefit from your builds.
3. FINALIZE YOUR TEAM BUILD
A member of our team will review the submitted forms and set up a time to craft your one-of-a-kind volunteer experience combining team building & skill development.
4. BUILD WITH US!
Join us at our warehouse where we’ll have all of the materials, tools, instructions and facilitators ready for your team build. This session will drive huge impact for thousands of youth & families in Cincinnati. You can even host your post-project happy hour right in our warehouse!
