Banking on Our Community
As the very fabric of our community, our region’s banks and accounting firms continue to lead the way, building stronger and healthier communities. In keeping with this philanthropic spirit, The Cincinnati Community ToolBank is hosts “Banking on Our Community” each year. Banking on Our Community is a one-day, hands-on volunteering event, with local banks, accounting firms, and their clients assisting selected local nonprofit organizations. This event helps inspire others to volunteer in our community to make a better place to live, work, and play.
As always, we are committed to the safety, health and welfare of our staff, volunteers, and members at all times. In response to the current environment, during this time of unprecedented caution aimed at curbing the spread of COVID-19, we are taking serious measures to do our part to flatten the curve of transmission of the virus. Because of this, we made the difficult decision to postpone Banking on Our Community 2020.
Why should you get involved in Banking on Our Community?
Relationship Building
Each banking and accounting firm will have the opportunity to network with their clients by working side by side on a community project helping to improve our community while also cultivating deeper relationships with their clients.
Team Building
Employees from each firm will work collaboratively during a hands-on volunteering event that will foster team building and strengthen their internal leadership.
Community Building
Participating firms will also have the option to volunteer at their preferred charitable organization, which can further strengthen a relationship with an existing client.
Public Relations
We will be partnering with local media outlets to get significant coverage of the event. The volunteer event, including an appreciation after-party, will be positioned and messaged as the local banks and accounting firms collectively thanking the community in which they work and live. The event will also highlight the banking and accounting firm’s commitment and investment in the health and wellness of our communities.
